Overview
Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, has officially announced admissions for the academic year 2025–26 to its highly sought-after postgraduate programmes:
- M.Sc. in Biotechnology
- M.Sc. in Computational and Integrative Sciences
Admissions will be through the GAT-B 2025 (Graduate Aptitude Test in Biotechnology), conducted by the Regional Centre for Biotechnology under the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India.
Eligibility Criteria
M.Sc. in Biotechnology:
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3 pattern) in any of the following disciplines with at least 55% marks:
- Physical Sciences
- Biological Sciences (Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Botany, Microbiology, Zoology)
- Agricultural, Veterinary, and Fishery Sciences
- Pharmacy, Engineering/Technology
- 4-year B.Sc. (Physician Assistant Course)
- MBBS/BDS
M.Sc. in Computational and Integrative Sciences:
Candidates should have a minimum of 55% marks in a Bachelor’s degree in any of the following:
- Basic and Applied Sciences
- Technology
- Medicine
- Engineering
